Joining in the fourth week of FantasyFutures, Liu Cheng Zheng, a third year student in Bioengineering at Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University, claimed the Grand Prize in JPMorgan’s Asia FantasyFutures game. Liu earned the greatest overall profit in the region, beating more than 4,400 students across the four participating locations of Singapore, Hong Kong, China & India.

Weekly Location Winners were announced each week during the competition. Liu was also the week 4 location winner of Singapore.

The top three players in each participating Asia location will also be rewarded with a dinner in Hong Kong with our senior traders and go through a “Day-in-bank” program which includes a tour of our main trading floor in Hong Kong as well as shadowing traders.

As his international Grand Prize, Liu chose to go on an expenses-paid trip to participate in a “Day-in-bank” at JPMorgan’s headquarters in New York City.

What is Liu’s top tip for future players? He advises to pay extra attention to the central banks’ monetary policies: “I often visit their websites to gather whatever information I would get to help to determine how the price of the contracts would be affected.”
